FROM THE FOUNDER OF HELPING HAND FOR ANIMALS:
March, 2008. : Why are there now only three dogs in need in our rescue posted, you ask? Well, what you think you see is not always what is real. True, that Bullseye, Tyger and Moose may be still patiently waiting for a loving, lasting homes to take them to their heart, but we always have other, previously adopted rescues coming back for assorted reasons. This causes extreme financial and emotional stress for not only us, but the poor pets as well. .
To date, I have, in my home, 8 unwanted dogs and 4unwanted cats that were to be placed, at one point or another, yet years went by and they were either, returned for ridiculous reasons or no one simply wanted them.
Due to the thousands of dollars we still owe our loving vets and wonderful kennel keepers, we are unable to save anymore lives and are struggling to maintain the "misfits" who reside with me and my wonderfuil foster care givers.
Unfortunately, times seem to be tough for many so donations are few and far between, grants we may qualify for rescuing dogs- let alone bully breeds- are non existent.
Seventy percent of my own meager income goes to maintaining this operation which has caused my own and foster pets to suffer greatly with lack of heat in the winter and air in the summer, good food or regular vet care. The home we are forced to live in due to circumstances is not suitable for man nor beast. I will need to rehome as many of my own beloved misfits in an attempt to save their health and happiness in their last years.

The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the Rainbow Bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together.
The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look! Something
wonderful is happening!" The older dog stood up and barked, "Quickly. Get over to the path." "But that's not my owner," whined the pup, but he did as he was told.
Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked on the
path toward the bridge. After the glowing figure passed each animal,
that animal bowed it's head in love and respect. The figure finally
approached the bridge, and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals. Together, they all walked over the bridge and disappeared.
The young pup was still in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.

"That was more than an angel.

HHA is a not for profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare and placement of homeless and unwanted animals. HHA is based out of Nebraska, although we have a network of supporters throughout the Midwest.
ADOPTING YOUR FOREVER FRIEND!
Please understand that most of our animals are rescued from unstable, neglectful, or sometimes abusive environments. HHA has dedicated our blood,sweat, tears and finances to assure them their next home will be safe, loving and permanent. If you are serious about loving our rescues, we will give our 110% to make sure it WILL work for you and your new companion. As most rescue groups, we are not located at one address. We are a network of loving and caring volunteers. Standard (Non Urgent)
Adoption fees are as follows, please note that after April 1 adoption fees will need to be adjusted due to excessive costs of transports, vet care and supplies and the lack of donations and grants. Thank you:

Due to the thousands of dollars we still owe our loving vets and wonderful kennel keepers, we are unable to save anymore lives and are struggling to maintain the "misfits" who reside with me and my wonderfuil foster care givers.
Unfortunately, times seem to be tough for many so donations are few and far between, grants we may qualify for rescuing dogs- let alone bully breeds- are non existent.
Seventy percent of my own meager income goes to maintaining this operation which has caused my own and foster pets to suffer greatly with lack of heat in the winter and air in the summer, good food or regular vet care. The home we are forced to live in due to circumstances is not suitable for man nor beast. I will need to rehome as many of my own beloved misfits in an attempt to save their health and happiness in their last years.

I thank everyone who has ever adopted from HHA or supported us and our efforts throughout the years and hope that many more may continue to support our remaining rescues in the years to come.

The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the Rainbow Bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together.
The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look! Something
wonderful is happening!" The older dog stood up and barked, "Quickly. Get over to the path." "But that's not my owner," whined the pup, but he did as he was told.
Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked on the
path toward the bridge. After the glowing figure passed each animal,
that animal bowed it's head in love and respect. The figure finally
approached the bridge, and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals. Together, they all walked over the bridge and disappeared.
The young pup was still in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.
"No, son." The older dog replied.
"That was more than an angel.
That was a person who worked rescue."

HHA is a not for profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare and placement of homeless and unwanted animals. HHA is based out of Nebraska, although we have a network of supporters throughout the Midwest.
ADOPTING YOUR FOREVER FRIEND!
Please understand that most of our animals are rescued from unstable, neglectful, or sometimes abusive environments. HHA has dedicated our blood,sweat, tears and finances to assure them their next home will be safe, loving and permanent. If you are serious about loving our rescues, we will give our 110% to make sure it WILL work for you and your new companion. As most rescue groups, we are not located at one address. We are a network of loving and caring volunteers. Standard (Non Urgent)
Adoption fees are as follows, please note that after April 1 adoption fees will need to be adjusted due to excessive costs of transports, vet care and supplies and the lack of donations and grants. Thank you:
*Canine: From $150.00; *Feline: $75.00; *Other: From $50.00
HHA does not allow "pick ups" from out of town and we do not place our animals more than 150 mile radius, by automobile, outside of our area. Please contact HHA to arrange an in home visit today!!!!

Our Beloveds, Waiting at Rainbow Bridge with Four former Earthly Caretakers, now, by their side: Patty Taylor (NE Animal Rescue and GRRIN), sweet little Molly (Omaha NE), Diana Taylor (Imogene IA) and Becki Caldwell (Orlando FLA). Although we miss Molly, Patty, Diana and Becki dearly, we know that our beloved pets are living in the lite of thier love while they wait to reunite with us in God's time:

The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the Rainbow Bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together.
The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look! Something
wonderful is happening!" The older dog stood up and barked, "Quickly. Get over to the path." "But that's not my owner," whined the pup, but he did as he was told.
Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked on the
path toward the bridge. After the glowing figure passed each animal,
that animal bowed it's head in love and respect. The figure finally
approached the bridge, and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals. Together, they all walked over the bridge and disappeared.
The young pup was still in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.
"No, son." The older dog replied.
"That was more than an angel.
That was a person who worked rescue."

WHO WE ARE
HHA is a not for profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare and placement of homeless and unwanted animals. HHA is based out of Nebraska, although we have a network of supporters throughout the Midwest.
ADOPTING YOUR FOREVER FRIEND!
Please understand that most of our animals are rescued from unstable, neglectful, or sometimes abusive environments. HHA has dedicated our blood,sweat, tears and finances to assure them their next home will be safe, loving and permanent. If you are serious about loving our rescues, we will give our 110% to make sure it WILL work for you and your new companion. As most rescue groups, we are not located at one address. We are a network of loving and caring volunteers.
