MAY / JUNE 2008: Update on our "Three Still in Need" : BULLS-EYE, our deaf- but sweet, smart and funny boy is still in search of his forever home to be the only 'fur baby' to share his time and love with. His foster home is one of the very few, dedicated people in rescue who mean what they say when they knowingly take on a special needs pet. Even tho Shari does not have the time needed for Bullseye, she dedicates what she has to his care and well being until someone, who can love him as much as we do with more to offer, finds him.

The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the Rainbow Bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together. The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look! Something wonderful is happening!" The older dog stood up and barked, "Quickly. Get over to the path." "But that's not my owner," whined the pup, but he did as he was told. Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked on the path toward the bridge. WHO WE ARE

HHA is a not for profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the welfare and placement of homeless and unwanted animals. HHA is based out of Nebraska, although we have a network of supporters throughout the Midwest.

ADOPTING YOUR FOREVER FRIEND!

Please understand that most of our animals are rescued from unstable, neglectful, or sometimes abusive environments. HHA has dedicated our blood,sweat, tears and finances to assure them their next home will be safe, loving and permanent. If you are serious about loving our rescues, we will give our 110% to make sure it WILL work for you and your new companion. As most rescue groups, we are not located at one address. We are a network of loving and caring volunteers. Standard (Non Urgent)
Adoption fees are as follows, please note that after April 1 adoption fees will need to be adjusted due to excessive costs of transports, vet care and supplies and the lack of donations and grants. Thank you:

Canine: From $150.00; Feline: $75.00; *Other: From $50.00

HHA does not allow "pick ups" from out of town and we do not place our animals more than 150 mile radius, by automobile, outside of our area. Please contact HHA to arrange an in home visit today!!!!
